Jared Rinker from Findlay, OH (originally from Romney, WV) is rider #37. He is riding a 1928 Indian 101 Scout. Jared has three daughters – Jordan, Karter, and Spencer. Jared received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University Kentucky in 2007 and has worked as an engineer for Marathon Petroleum ever since. Jared grew up around motorcycles, started riding at age 6, and is a 3rd generation Indian rider (preceded by his grandfather Buck and father Steve). Jared and his family are Indian Motocycle enthusiasts and have a vintage Indian Motocycle shop. Jared is a Great Race, Cannonball, and The Race of Gentlemen former competitor. This is Jared’s 4th Cannonball at age 37, and he is ready for another epic race. He received a perfect score in the 2016 and 2018 coast-to-coast races on his 1916 Indian Power Plus machine (aka “Lexi”, aka “Slayer of Monsters”, aka “The Silver Bullet”) and another perfect score in 2021 on the border-to-border race riding his 1928 Scout, which he will be riding again this year.
